Getting set up

Slower than a yard sign. Barely.

01

Open your storefront

Name your stand, add a photo, say hi to the neighborhood. That's the whole application.

02

Add your first listing

Photo + price — about two minutes. Mark it “made to order” if you bake or build on request; buyers are only charged when you confirm.

03

Get paid your way

Connect Stripe for card payments and payouts — or skip it and take cash in person. You can change your mind anytime.

Payments, your way

Card, cash, or both. You decide.

In-app payments

Secured by Stripe. Buyers pay by card or Apple Pay; your earnings land in your bank account on a regular payout schedule, minus Stripe's card-processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per order). Getting paid shows your balance, your bank, and every payout on one screen.

Cash in person

The honor-system cash box still works. Skip payment setup entirely and settle up at pickup — Coop just handles the finding and the ordering.

Made to order

For bake-on-request and custom work, the buyer's card is authorized up front — you're only paid, and they're only charged, when you accept the order.

Plans & pricing

Selling is free. The power tools are optional.

Most stands never need a plan. Coop+ and Coop Pro are for the weekends when the table has a line — and nothing a buyer sees is ever behind either one.

Common questions

Before you list your first loaf.

What does it cost?

Opening a storefront and listing are free, and Coop doesn't take a cut of your price — buyers pay a 4% community fee on top that keeps the platform running (at Coop Pro shops, they pay none). If you take card payments, Stripe's card-processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per order) comes out of the sale; cash sales are between you and your buyer. The optional Coop+ and Coop Pro plans above are the only thing on Coop with a price tag, and selling never requires one.

Do I need Coop+ or Pro to sell?

No. The free stand is the whole marketplace — storefront, listings, orders, chat, payments, delivery. The plans add speed for busy weekends: labels, quick-add, saved replies, drops, a featured spot. If you never touch them, you're not missing access to buyers.

Does bringing another seller get me anything?

Every seller you bring who lists something gets a free month of Coop Pro, and you do too.

Can I sell without connecting a bank account?

Yes. Payments are optional — plenty of sellers take cash in person and never touch payment setup.

What can I sell?

Things you make or grow — food, flowers, crafts, and more. You're responsible for following your local rules (cottage food laws, labeling, and the like); the full list of what's not allowed is in our Terms.

Do buyers come to my house?

Only if you want them to. You choose the pickup spot — your stand, your porch, the church parking lot — and you can keep your exact address private until an order is confirmed.
